UPDATE: The same exact issue of being billed for electricity when the solar system was not functional took place in 2021- from May to October. Vivint continued to bill us fraudulently. Our system only functioned for 4 months in 2021. My PG&E true-up this year was...

Incomplete install

Had solar panels Installed March 28, still not completed as of June 8. AEP has contacted us for meter reading,, but it is not wired in yet.. Have had numerous calls to installer and sales rep that sold it to us with no response as to getting it done, Actually had an appointment today, but that was cancelled because the installer was sick. Do you only have one installer? With the cost of things going up so dramatically, we cannot afford to pay our electric and the finance payment both for very long. Can someone get on this and get it done PLEASE.

Salesman lied about us getting our federal rebate

Vivint Solar - Salesman lied about us getting our federal rebate
Salesman said we'd get our federal rebate no matter what. Even when I asked Jake about it he said yes we'll get the 4500 dollar rebate. Tax time came and tax man said no we didn't because we didn't pay enough in taxes. He will say anything to make a sale I guess. I asked them to just install and make operational 8 more panels and we will call it good. No answer.

So I contacted Vivint customer service and they contacted the salesman. He said he did all he could do.

In other words nothing.

Buyer beware of Vivint Solar salespeople. They will say whatever they need to try to make a sale.

3 months and no communication

we had a system installed 3 months ago.Building inspector says stucco must be repaired where a breaker panel was installed. The company doesn't even bother to reply to our salesman ! What does that say about customer service.

User's recommendation: Avoid sunrun at all costs.

Never keeps word NO COMMUNICATION BILL MUCH HIGHER THAT SDG&E

So I'm right there with you. Is there anything we can do to stop this injustice.

I'm retired and disabled and unable to keep up with these huge balloon payments at the end of the year.

Not only was i mislead once but twice. Once sunrun took over they promised to add more panels to take care of balloon payment now only doubled the headache!!

System not working after 6 months

we were lucky enough tp get a system installed while sunrun was buying vivint. There is no customer service, just a joke. We need stucco repaired before inspection will sign off, 3 months later nothing happened. We are still paying SCE $800 a month. Our sales manager said he is having problem with customer service. STAY AWAY FROM SUNRUN

Poor Service

Vivant was supposed to have the transfer of it's solar account to me and my wife on 8.4.2021; the closing of escrow on our new house. The purchase price was $808,000.00; not chicken feed! We had to call and call until Vivant finally sent in the needed paper work on 8.5.2021, a day late. The agents still have not solved my problem (over 30 days of repeated calls) why I cannot receive an email to verify my Vivant account. Check my email address please! Cheese and Rice! my accountmy account.

User's recommendation: If this does not get resolved I'm ordering a removal of the solar system and hiring another company for a new install. That's all I have to say about that.

Affected by natural disaster/thunderstorm

My solar panel was damaged by the thunderstorm. It took me time before I was able to talk to the customer service. I am still waiting for their response.

Worst company ever

they are they worst people to deal with ive been paying them $200 - $300 per month and still paying eddision about $200 per month and still have an $800 bill for eddision at the end of the year i didnt get solar to go broke so i stopped paying untill they send someone to ck my system and they did but the manager Michael Monk has the worst customer service he said they shouldnt have come and i still have to pay no matter whatrun very

TERRIBLE SERVICE

Harassing me multiple times daily for a month for a payment that was made and check cashed with money deducted from my Bank, but they insist I did not pay my bill in June!! Can't believe these stupid people can't find the error on THEIR PART not my problem, butt they continue to call Daily for collection of my bill...Don't use this company, they will make you crazy !A

Not removing solar panels

My roof is leaking water into my house and they made me pay $95 per panel (6) plus a fixed rate of $320 totaling $890 before they would schedule an appointment for the removal. I paid this fee on 7/15 and as of today 7/21/21 there's no appointment made or any contact from them. I'm contacting my c/c company and putting in a dispute until they get this resolved. Furthermore I have contractors lined up to replace the roof and cannot move forward. replace/repair the roof replaced resolved. Furthermor

Worst, most fraudulent company EVER!

They scammed my elderly Mother (who had dementia, so really theres not a valid contract, even if I could find one!) Bills never decreased, equipment is often faulty, techs out multiple times to correct system, took forever to get approved to start up at the beginning, non-existent customer service (literally hours on the phone, emailing, etc to no avail.) Bad breaker

Breaker to solar system in my panel is very loose and arcing and There is no way to contact a trained service tec for questions , or what steps to take
